A closer view of the Sun Dog - the first one I saw was a photo from Kay on the Scillywebcam and I've seen a couple since then. In case you're wondering here's part of what Wikipedia has to say
"A sun dog or sundog, scientific name parhelion from Greek meaning "beside the sun" also called a mock sun or a phantom sun, is an atmospheric phenomenon that creates bright spots of light in the sky, often on a luminous ring or halo on either side of the sun."
Tim on Calypso II heading back from St Agnes in the sunset - great night for that trip
I think our last Scilly sunset was the best !
